The Princess Who loved to Sing

 Hello, everybody.

In this section, I would like to tell you a story entitled “The Princess Who Loved to Sing”. I hope you will enjoy it.

Long time ago, there lived a princess whose name was Isabelle. She was very pretty. Her skin was as white as Snow White's skin. It was also as smooth as porcelain. Her hair was long and it was as soft as silk. Princess Isabelle also had a beautiful voice. She loved to sing very much. She sang anytime and anywhere she wanted to. However, while she was singing, everybody around her had to be quite. They had to pay attention to her. She could be very angry as a furious tiger if somebody disturbed her while she was singing.

One day, the Princess greeted the people around her.
“Hello, Guys. How is life? I’m sure you have missed my beautiful voice. Now, I want to sing a new song for you, but, remember, and always remember….while I’m singing, all of you must listen to me. Otherwise, I will punish you! Yes, I will punish you! Now, listen to me”.
Then, she sang beautifully in front of them.

One day, the princess was singing as usual. Suddenly, she stopped singing because there was a beggar came to her and said,
“Please, give a pity on me. I need some money to buy some food”.
The princess was very angry and shouted,
“Hey! Hhow dare you! Don’t you know that nobody is allowed to disturb me while I’m singing?”
The beggar replied, “But. I’m very hungry. I haven’t eaten for days”.
The Princess said,
“Hahaha...I don’t care....It’s not my business, you know. Now, because of your mistake, I will punish you!”.
Hearing it, the beggar was angry, because actually she was a witch! She said,
“Beautiful princess, you won’t be able to punish me because actually I’m a witch, a powerful witch. Hahaha.. And now, because of your arrogance, I will punish you. You will lose your voice since now on! Hahaha…”
The princess shouted “Oh, no! Ouch. Ouch… Yeah, she lost her voice!

The princess felt so blue and cried for days.

Fortunately, there was a good fairy. She came to the princess and said,
“Don’t be sad, beautiful princess. Your voice will be back if you do something good to others.”
Since then on, the princess tried to be kind to other persons. He gave a lot of money to many people around her. She hoped her voice would be back soon. However, it never came back. She almost gave up.

One day, the princess was very tired after giving some money to the people around her. She went to a park and sat on a bench. She felt so hungry, so he took out her sandwich. She almost ate it, suddenly she saw a little boy who was crying under a tree. The boy was hungry but he didn’t have any money to buy some food. Without thinking any longer, the princess approached him and gave her only sandwich to him.
The boy said,
“But, this is your only sandwich, isn’t it?” (Making a gesture of asking the boy to receive and eat the sandwich).
Then the boy said,
“Thank you for your kindness, princess.”
“It’s OK, boy…Ouch! Ouch! My voice is back!”, shouted the princess happily.
“Yes, my voice is back..but… can I sing now?". Then the Princess sang beautifully. Her voice was really back.

Since then on, the princess was kind to anybody around her. She was not arrogant anymore.
That’s all of my story. From the story we can learn two things; first, we mustn’t be an arrogant person, second, we must be a helpful person.

We must remember that our life is just like grass; it is very short. We only have one chance to live, so let's always do our best.

The song is nice, isn't it?
Here is the lyric of the song and its meaning.

                        "Shalala Lala"

There's a boy in my mind and he knows I'm thinkin' of him
All my way to the day and the night the stars shine above me
He's been gone for some time but I know I truly love him
And I'm singing a song, hoping he'll be back when he hears it

My heart goes shalala lala, shalala in the morning
Oh oh oh shalala lala, shalala in the sunshine
Shalala lala, shalala lala in the evening
Shalala lala shalala lala just for you

If your love's gone away just like mine you feel like crying
Sing along maybe once, maybe twice, let's try it together
Some sweet day no one knows he'll return and you'll be happy
Shout it sweet in a song, listen to your heart it is singin'

My heart goes shalala lala, shalala in the morning
Oh oh oh shalala lala, shalala in the sunshine
Shalala lala, shalala lala in the evening
Shalala lala shalala lala just for you

My heart goes shalala lala, shalala in the morning
Oh oh oh shalala lala, shalala in the sunshine
Shalala lala, shalala lala in the evening
Shalala lala shalala lala just for you

Shalala lala shalala lala just for you

                              Translation:
Ada seorang pria di pikiranku
dan dia tahu aku memikirkannya
Sepanjang jalan, siang, dan malam bintang-bintang bersinar di atasku
Dia telah pergi beberapa saat,
kutahu aku benar-benar mencintainya
Dan aku nyanyikan lagu, sambil aku berharap dia akan kembali
ketika dia mendengarnya

Hatiku bernyanyi "shalala lala, shalala" di pagi hari
Oh oh oh "shalala lala, shalala" di bawah sinar matahari
"Shalala lala, shalala lala" di malam hari
"Shalala lala, shalala lala", hanya untukmu.

Jika kekasihmu pergi seperti kekasihku, dan kau merasa ingin menangis
Bernyanyilah, mungkin sekali, mungkin dua kali,
mari kita coba bersama

"Shalala lala, shalala lala", hanya untukmu.

The moral value of the song is:
Although we have problem, we must stay strong, cheerful and happy.

The next step,  watch the following video and try to dance like the persons in it.

I hope, next meeting, you have been able to sing this song and dance with it.
For the second song, I will post it later.

Bye✋✋

A. What is Covid-19?
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).The disease was first identified in 2019 in Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei province, and has since spread globally, resulting in the ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic.
Common symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Other symptoms may include muscle pain, sputum production, diarrhea, sore throat, loss of smell, and abdominal pain. While the majority of cases result in mild symptoms, some progress to pneumonia and multi-organ failure.
As of March 28, 2020, the overall rate of deaths per number of diagnosed cases is 4.6 percent; ranging from 0.2 percent to 15 percent according to age groupand other health problems.
The virus is mainly spread during close contact and via respiratory droplets produced when people cough or sneeze. Respiratory droplets may be produced during breathing but the virus is not generally airborne. People may also contract COVID-19 by touching a contaminated surface and then their face.
It is most contagious when people are symptomatic, although spread may be possible before symptoms appear. The virus can survive on surfaces up to 72 hours. Time from exposure to onset of symptoms is generally between two and fourteen days, with an average of five days. The standard method of diagnosis is by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) from a nasopharyngeal swab. The infection can also be diagnosed from a combination of symptoms, risk factors and a chest CT scan showing features of pneumonia.
Recommended measures to prevent infection include frequent hand washing, social distancing (maintaining physical distance from others, especially from those with symptoms), covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue or inner elbow, and keeping unwashed hands away from the face. The use of masks is recommended by some national health authorities for those who suspect they have the virus and their caregivers, but not for the general public, although simple cloth masks may be used by those who desire them.
There is no vaccine or specific antiviral treatment for COVID-19. Management involves treatment of symptoms, supportive care, isolation, and experimental measures.
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the 2019–20 coronavirus outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) on 30 January 2020 and a pandemic on 11 March 2020.
